The mysterious individual who replaced one of Voldemort's Horcruxes with a fake. If it's someone we've heard of already, the possibilities are: Professor Binns, Regulus Black, Edgar Bones's wife, and Mr. Borgin. My money is on Regulus Black

Rackharrow, Urquhart 1612-1697
A rather vicious-looking wizard and the inventor of the Entrails-Expelling Curse. Rack an instrument of torture used for extreme stretching or pulling out the insides of a person, harrow as in torment, tear or distress or its archaic sense of plunder

Ragnok
Presumably a Gringotts goblin. Possibly connected to Ragnarok an event in Norse myth that marked the final destruction of the world in the conflict between the Aesir and the powers of Hel led by Loki. The destruction of the all the gods and the powers of evil, led to a time of enlightenment

Railview Hotel
The gloomy-looking hotel on the outskirts of a big city where Uncle Vernon takes the family to hide (they stay in room 17)

Ramora 
Benevolent silver fish Similar in name to the remora, which are fish of the family Echeneidae having on their head a sucking disk with which they attach themselves to sharks, whales, sea turtles or the hulls of ships.

Ravenclaw
A Hogwarts house named for one of the founders Rowena Ravenclaw. Her house likes it student to be wise, a ready mind, with wit and a thirst for learning, Rowena is Welsh for Fair-haired. First used by Geoffrey of Monmouth to describe the daughter of Hengist.

Cornelius Fudge, Minister of Magic’s tipple of choice, as served in the Three Broomsticks

Red Cap
Dwarf like creatures found wherever blood has been spilled. From Scottish folklore. Red Cap is a thoroughly evil creature. He is a short stocky old man with long grey hair and claws instead of hands. He lives on the Scottish Border in ancient ruins of castles especially in those with a bloody history of war and murder. He owes his name to the fact that he wears a red hat, which is coloured by the blood of his victims. Red Cap moves with remarkable speed despite the fact that he wears iron boots. He can overcome even the strongest man unless the intended victim remembers to quote a few words from the bible

Reducio
Counteracts an enlargement charm Reduce means to bring down in extent amount or degree; diminish and comes from Latin reductio, which means to bring back; return.

Reductor Curse
Blasts solid objects out of one's path Reducere is Latin for to bring back. It is two words re, back, and ducere, to lead.

Re'em
Giant oxen with golden hides The re'em are to be found in America and in the far east. It's blood gives the drinker great strength. they have been closely linked with Unicorns since the time of the bible. Legend has it that in 300BC on the isle of Pharos met the Septuagint: (seventy Jewish scholars, who had assembled to translate the Old Testament from Hebrew into Greek, a feat they reputedly managed in seventy two days.) Finding an obscure reference to a beast called the Re'em, the Seventy were unable to identify the beast. They had a description however: "Fleet, fierce, indomitable and especially distinguished by the armour of its brow."

Sends sparks at an opponent Harry used it on grindylows. I am not aware of any normal or old French old German or Latin words with any relevant meaning for this one, lash is to whip or to tie down with rope, so to re-lash is to tie it down again, release is to set free. The closest I can get to this word, is a Latin word combination. Re, to, and a Old French word lasche meaning slack, from the latin Laxus or loose, and relaxare the root of the word relax.

Remembrall
A glass marble-sized ball which when held turns red to tell the holder if they've forgotten something. It comes from remember all, simple as that

Remus
Brother of Romulus (founder of Rome). A female wolf raised them. He was killed by Romulus for mocking the city he was building (Rome). See Lupin

Rennervate
Used to rouse an unconscious person. from the Latin renovatio to make a new or from the Latin word renovo to renew or restore

Reparo
Repairs broken or damaged objects Reparo is Latin for to restore, renew, make good

Restricted Section
A part of the Hogwarts library open only to staff, advanced students of Defence Against the Dark Arts, and other students who can get a teacher's permission. Naturally, this is where all the really interesting and useful books are kept.

Another product of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. A word spelling guessing game, with a real wooden hanged man

An item that can make invisible ink visible. Hermione has one it looks like a bright red eraser from Latin re-velo, to unveil, to lay bare

The house in Little Hangleton where Tom Riddle senior lived with his parents until all three were killed. The current owner of the house is a mysterious wealthy man who is believed to have bought it for tax reasons

Riddle Tom Marvolo
A young Lord Voldemort; born of a Muggle father, and a witch mother who died in childbirth. The father put the baby boy into a Muggle orphanage his mother named him before she died Tom after his father, Marvolo after his grandfather

Robins, Demelza
Demelza From a Cornish place name meaning "fort of Maeldaf" popularized by a character in the Poldark series. Robins is a diminutive of the name Roberts.

It is known as the Come and Go Room, or the Room of Requirementt is a room that a person can only enter, when they have real need of it. Sometimes it is there, and sometimes it is not, but when it appears, it is always equipped for the seeker's needs. The House Elf -Dobby used it, when his friend Winky was very drunk; he had hidden her in the Room of Requirement and he found antidotes to Butterbeer there, and a nice elf-sized bed to settle her on while she slept it off, The caretaker Mr Filch has found extra cleaning materials there when he has run short, Dumbledore found it one Yuletide night when he was in need, it was filled chamber pots, Mostly people stumbles across it when they need it , but they rarely find it again, for they do not know that it is always there waiting to be called into service.
