Quidditch World Cup
The four hundred and twenty-second Quidditch World Cup was held somewhere in the mist moors of Britain. To protect it from prying Muggle eyes, a Ministry task force of five hundred members worked all year to ready the stadium, they placed Muggle repelling Charms on every inch of it. Every time Muggles got anywhere near they've suddenly remembered urgent appointments and had to dash away again, the stadium held over one hundred thousand people, allow for wizards from all over the world who wished to attend. People with cheaper tickets would have to have arrived two weeks before the game. A limited number were allowed to use Muggle transport. There were those that chosen to Apparate, and the ministry had set up safe points for them to appear, well away from Muggles, luckily this year there was a handy wood that they were able to use as the Apparition point. For those who don't want to Apparate, or couldn't, over 200 Portkeys had been set up.

The path towards the Quidditch pitch was lit by red and green lanterns, surrounding the field was a golden wall, which could hold ten cathedrals. Everything was suffused with a mysterious magical golden light, which came from the stadium itself, for this special event the field was as smooth as velvet. Standing at either end of the field stood three goal hoops, fifty feet high. Opposite the top box, was a gigantic blackboard, and gold writing kept dashing across it as though an invisible giant's hand were scrawling upon the blackboard and then wiping it off again, it flashed its advertisements across the field.
The two teams in the final were Ireland and Bulgaria. Ireland had won against Peru, but England went down to Transylvania, three hundred and ninety to ten. Wales lost to Uganda, and Scotland had been defeated by Luxembourg.
