Ollivanders
A shop in Diagon Alley with Peeling gold letters over the door, which read Ollivander's: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C. A single wand lay on a faded purple cushion in the dusty window. I have come to the conclusion that Ollivander family were probably refugees from the Gaulish war in Roman occupied Europe, Gaul (an area that covered France, Belgium, western Switzerland and the parts of the Netherlands and Germany on the left bank of the Rhine) just sacked Rome and burnt it to the ground, 382 BC, also the battles between the Spartans and the Thebans was at it's height, 382 to 379 BC, in order to escape from the trials of war people were leaving Europe and the Mediterranean and heading to Britain in the hope of making money from the burgeoning export of tin from the South West of England, 400BC to 330BC
