Mclaggen Mrs
Extremely beautiful lady who has been married seven times and whose husbands have all met with mysterious deaths, leaving the poor grieving widow very wealthy.

Medal for Magical Merit:
Tom Riddle was awarded one during his days at Hogwarts. I think it was for aiding in the “capture” of the Beast from the Chamber of Secret during his school days at Hogwarts

Galatea is the name of king Pygmalion's of Cyprus, who had a statue brought to life by Venus. In Greek mythology she was a mythical sea nymph, whose name means “she who is milk white”. Her lover Acis was killed by Polyphemus, in a jealous rage. Galatea beside herself with grief turned the flow of his blood in to the River Acis in Sicily
Merrythought is the old English name for that part of a chicken turkey or other bird served as a meal, which is now more commonly called a “wishbone” the Fruca derived from the Latin word for fork is the correct name for the merrythought.

A wizard with the ability to change his or her appearance at will they are rare and are born with the ability Metamorph relating to physical change of form or structure and magus meaning wizard. Metamorphosis is Latin for, transformation

A fake or useless amulet sold to the gullible with the promise that it allows the wearer to alter their appearance like a Metamorphmagus.

A Girl who tried unsuccessfully to curse her acne away, the School nurse at Hogwarts managed to reattach her nose, considered an unsuitable date to the Yule ball as her nose was not on straight, it might have been a smidgen off centre (a tiny amount) which is strange really as her name 'Eloise' means 'gifted with intelligence' or smart

Ministry of Magic
In charge of keeping witches and wizards secret from the Muggles The headquarters of the Ministry of Magic is located in the heart of London. The actual structure is all underground, although magical windows show whatever weather Magical Maintenance has chosen for the day, from bright sunshine to hurricanes. Visitors' Entrance A visitor to the Ministry of Magic comes to a broken-down red telephone box located on a dingy street which has several shabby offices, a pub, and a wall covered with graffitti. When the telephone in the box is dialed (62442, the word M-A-G-I-C), the welcome witch's voice answers. Visitors state their business, upon which a silver badge pops out with the visitor's name and purpose of visit. Then the telephone box drops down like a lift for about one minute, after which the visitor is in the Atrium.

Moaning Myrtle

She moans loudly and complains that no one likes her (which is probably true.) She told Harry that if he were to die she would willingly share her u-bend with him. The Myrtle plants are a kind of tree. They are often called Crepe Myrtle because their flowers are wrinkled and have the look of crepe paper. There is one species of it Eugenia Ventenatii or Weeping Myrtle called so because its branches hang so much, there is also a plant called the Bog Myrtle. Latin name is Myrica gale, The Bog Myrtle is so called because it lives near swampy or boggy ground. Bog is a childish English slang word for toilet. Another perfectly reasonable explanation however is that Moaning Myrtle is simply a play on words similar to Weeping willow

The last name of two sisters at Hogwarts whose brother was killed by a werewolf, probably Fenrir Greyback.
