Leprechaun
Mischievous Irish creatures From Irish legend. Leprechauns are very small sprites who sometimes live in farmhouses or wine cellars. They are known to aid humans and perform small labours for them. Sometimes they ask humans for supplies and furniture for which in return they give objects that bring luck and fortune. According to popular belief a leprechaun possesses a treasure (usually a pot of gold) that a human may obtain if he succeeds in capturing one which is extremely difficult. Lestrange Bellatrix(Black)
Death Eater. She had long, dark hair that looked unkempt and straggly, She had heavily lidded eyes, an arrogant, disdainful smile and a thin mouth. She was convicted of the torture and permanent incapacitation of Frank and Alice Longbottom. Bellatrix is the 22nd brightest star in the sky. Her name means warrioress (west shoulder). Also called The Amazon Star and Gamma Orionis. -trix indicates a female. The Italian word for female is donna. Therefore her name punwise is Belladonna, which is the name of a poison. See Belladonna

Lestrange Rodolphus
Death eater he was at the final battle against Harry Potter and His friends at the Ministry of Magic he is the Husband of Bellatrix. They both spent time in Azkaban before escaping to rejoin the Dark Lord

A cloak like creature that envelops and eats humans possibly lethal from the Latin letalis fatal or deadly and fold from the Saxon word Fealden, to bend cloth . Thus a creature with lethal folds.

Another incantation to float a body (also see Mobilicorpus). Corpus is Latin for any material that can be sensed, a body something of substance, levi meaning light or weightless

Neville's father, an Auror who was tortured by Bartemius Crouch Jr. and went insane when Bellatrix Lestrange used the Cruciatus Curse on him.

Forgetful and clumsy classmate of Harry's; A Gryffindor; his gran a powerful witch raised him, after his parents were confined to St Mungo's, when he was a small child. After the battle at the Ministry of magic where his old wand was broken Neville received a new wand of cherry and unicorn hair

A werewolf. Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher during Harry's third year and best friend to James Sirius and Peter. According to Jo Rowling he is a half blood meaning one of his parents was a muggle. As a child Remuswas bitten by a werewolf and contracted the illness that turns him in to a wolf, during the Full moon. According to legend Remus and his brother Romulus were twins raised by wolves that supposedly founded Rome. (Roman mythology) The people of Normandy and France call werewolves Lupin (or Loup-Garou). Lupine means wolf-like. Lupus the wolf is a constellation in the Southern Hemisphere.
